Welcome to Believers Notes, a product of ShommyX Technologies Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Believers Notes provides AI-powered live sermon transcription, summary generation, and personal note-taking tools for pastors, ministries, and churchgoers. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
To use the Service, you must: be at least 13 years old (with parental consent under 18 where required), have the authority to act on behalf of your church or ministry (if applicable), and provide accurate and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
When you start a Live Sermon, you confirm that you have the right to record audio in your venue and have notified attendees that the sermon is being captured and transcribed. You are responsible for complying with applicable recording, privacy, and broadcast laws in your jurisdiction.
We may offer a free or pilot version of the Service with limited or full features. We reserve the right to modify or end the pilot at any time.
If you subscribe to a paid plan: you agree to pay all applicable fees, billing may be monthly or yearly, and fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, Paystack). We do not store your payment details.
We may change pricing at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before changes take effect.
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service, including sermon transcripts, AI summaries, and personal notes. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service. We do not use your sermon content to train AI models.
You agree not to upload or use the Service to store: illegal content, harmful or malicious data, content that violates third-party rights, or audio recorded without proper consent.
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with system security or performance, scrape or republish other users' sermon content, or reverse engineer or exploit the platform.
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features, add or remove functionality, and perform maintenance or updates.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Trashed notes are held for 7 days then permanently deleted (you can restore within that window). Upon account termination: your data may be retained for up to 30 days. After this period, data may be permanently deleted.
All rights, title, and interest in the Service (excluding your data) are owned by ShommyX Technologies Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.
The Service relies on third-party providers (transcription engines, AI summarization, cloud hosting, payments). We are not responsible for the performance or policies of these third-party providers.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI transcription and summarization may contain errors. We make no warranties regarding reliability, availability, or accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShommyX Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or profits, or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShommyX Technologies Inc. from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email and in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
